Privacy Policy — Slider Cubes!
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This policy explains what Slider Cubes! ("the app", "the game") collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the iOS app published by LDH ("we", "us").
Slider Cubes! has no accounts and no sign-in, and never asks you to type personal information. The game shows ads, and has cosmetic cube skins bought with coins you earn by playing — there are no real-money purchases.
Short version
- Your game progress and coins stay on your device.
- The game shows ads (Google AdMob) and collects anonymous gameplay statistics to improve the levels.
- Only if you allow it, the app shares an advertising identifier with Meta so we can tell which of our adverts bring in new players.
- We never sell your data, and we cannot identify you personally from what we collect.
What stays on your device
Your current level, your coins, your unlocked skins and your settings are stored locally on your iPhone. They are not sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them permanently — we hold no backup and cannot restore them.
What the app collects, and why
The app's App Store listing ("App Privacy") always states what the version you download actually collects.
1. Gameplay statistics (GameAnalytics)
When you start, finish or fail a level, the app sends an anonymous event to GameAnalytics, our analytics provider. Each event contains:
- the level number, what happened (started, completed), and your number of moves;
- your device model, operating system version, app version and country;
- how long the play session lasted;
- a random identifier generated on install, which is not linked to your name, your email or your Apple ID.
Why: to see where players get stuck, and to balance the difficulty. Nothing else.
Legal basis (GDPR): our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the game.
GameAnalytics acts as our data processor. Their privacy policy: https://gameanalytics.com/privacy
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows occasional full-screen ads between levels, delivered by Google AdMob. To serve them, Google may process your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device information and your interaction with the ads.
- If you do not allow tracking (see below), ads are still shown but are non-personalised.
- If you allow tracking, ads may be personalised using your advertising identifier.
Why: ads keep the game free to play.
Google acts as an independent data controller for ad data. Their privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy — and how Google uses data for ads: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
3. Advertising measurement (Meta / Facebook) — only with your permission
The first time you open the app, iOS asks whether you allow tracking. This is Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- If you decline (or ignore it), the app does not access your advertising identifier (IDFA), and nothing is linked to you across other companies' apps and websites.
- If you allow it, the app shares your advertising identifier with Meta, along with the fact that you installed the app or reached a given level.
Why: so we can tell which of our adverts actually bring in players, and stop paying for the ones that do not.
Legal basis (GDPR): your consent, given through the iOS prompt.
You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone. Declining changes nothing in the game: every level and every feature works exactly the same either way.
Meta acts as an independent data controller for this data. Their privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
4. Crash and diagnostic data
If the app crashes, Apple may share technical details about the failure with us if you have chosen to share analytics with developers in your iPhone settings — device model, OS version, and where in the code it happened. This helps us fix it. It contains nothing about you.
What we do NOT do
- We do not ask for, store or transmit your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
- We do not access your photos, camera, microphone, location or health data.
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We do not build advertising profiles about you ourselves.
- We do not offer real-money in-app purchases; cube skins are paid for with coins earned in-game.
How long data is kept
Anonymous gameplay statistics are retained by GameAnalytics for as long as they remain useful for improving the game, and no longer than 24 months. Advertising data is retained by Google and Meta according to their own policies.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what is collected and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information as the CCPA defines it.
Because our analytics data is anonymous and carries no identifier that we can trace back to you, we may need you to provide the random install identifier before we can act on a request. Contact us and we will explain how to find it.
To exercise any of these rights, or to withdraw consent, write to leducholding@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.
Children
Slider Cubes! is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page first. Significant changes will be announced in the app's release notes.
