Privacy Policy — Stacked Cubes
This policy explains what Stacked Cubes ("the app", "the game") collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the iOS app published by LDH ("we", "us").
Stacked Cubes has no accounts and no sign-in. You never type personal information into it. The game is free; it offers one optional in-app purchase (a pack of coins), handled entirely by Apple.
Short version
- Your game progress stays on your device.
- The game shows ads, served by Google AdMob. Some are optional videos you choose to watch in exchange for a life or a booster.
- If you buy a coin pack, Apple processes the payment. We never see your name, card or billing details — only an anonymous record that a purchase happened.
- We collect anonymous gameplay statistics to see which levels are too hard.
- If — and only if — you allow it, we share an advertising identifier with Meta so we can tell which ads bring in new players.
- We never sell your data, and we cannot identify you personally from what we collect.
What stays on your device
Your current level, your coin total, your lives, your boosters and your best results are stored locally on your iPhone. They are not sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them permanently — we hold no backup and cannot restore them.
What we collect, and why
1. Gameplay statistics (GameAnalytics)
Every time you start, finish or fail a level, the app sends an anonymous event to GameAnalytics, our analytics provider. Each event contains:
- the level number, and whether it was completed or failed;
- the number of blocks placed;
- your device model, operating system version, app version and country;
- a random identifier generated on install, which is not linked to your name, your email or your Apple ID.
Why: to see where players get stuck, and to balance the difficulty. Nothing else.
Legal basis (GDPR): our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the game.
GameAnalytics acts as our data processor. Their privacy policy: https://gameanalytics.com/privacy
2. Advertising measurement (Meta / Facebook) — only with your permission
The first time you open the app, iOS asks whether you allow tracking. This is Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- If you decline (or ignore it), the app does not access your advertising identifier (IDFA), and iOS blocks the app's connections to Meta's tracking domains. Nothing is linked to you across other apps.
- If you allow it, the app shares your advertising identifier with Meta, along with the fact that you installed the app, completed the tutorial, or reached a given level.
Why: so we can tell which of our ads actually bring in players, and stop paying for the ones that do not.
Legal basis (GDPR): your consent, given through the iOS prompt.
You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone.
Meta acts as an independent data controller for this data. Their privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Between games, the app shows an occasional full-screen ad. In the shop, you can also choose to watch a rewarded video to get a life or a booster; these videos only play when you ask for one. All ads are served by Google AdMob, which receives:
- your device's advertising identifier, if you allowed tracking;
- technical data about the device — model, operating system, language, approximate region derived from your IP address;
- which ads were shown to you, and whether you interacted with them.
Why: advertising is what pays for the game, which is free to play.
Legal basis (GDPR): your consent. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent form appears the first time you open the app. You choose there whether ads may be personalised. Declining does not remove the ads — they simply stop being tailored to you.

4. In-app purchases (Apple)
The shop offers an optional pack of coins. The purchase is processed by Apple through your Apple ID: we never receive your name, your payment method or your billing address. When a purchase succeeds, the app sends one anonymous event to GameAnalytics — the product bought and its reference price — attached to the same random install identifier as the gameplay statistics.
Why: to know whether the shop is used at all, and to keep the game's economy balanced.
Legal basis (GDPR): performance of the purchase you requested, and our legitimate interest in measuring sales.

5. Crash and diagnostic data
If the app crashes, our providers may receive technical details about the failure — device model, OS version, and where in the code it happened. This helps us fix it. It contains nothing about you.
What we do NOT do
- We do not ask for, store or transmit your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
- We do not access your photos, camera, microphone, location or health data.
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We do not build advertising profiles about you ourselves.
How long data is kept
Anonymous gameplay statistics are retained by GameAnalytics for as long as they remain useful for improving the game, and no longer than 24 months. Advertising data is retained by Google and by Meta according to their own policies.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what is collected and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information as the CCPA defines it.
Because our analytics data is anonymous and carries no identifier that we can trace back to you, we may need you to provide the random install identifier before we can act on a request. Contact us and we will explain how to find it.
You can change your advertising consent at any time from the game: the consent form can be reopened, and iOS tracking permission is under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
To exercise any of these rights, or to withdraw consent, write to leducholding@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.
Children
Stacked Cubes is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page. Significant changes will be announced in the app's release notes.
